GOTRC’s Program Fee Structure

Girls on the Run-Chicago’s fee model is a sliding fee scale based upon current annual household income. This model takes into consideration pandemic-related hardships, enables families to pay what they can based on their current annual household income, and allows us to provide programming that is more equitable and accessible.

While building confidence and empowering the next generation of women is priceless, there are hard costs associated with providing programming to the thousands of girls we serve each year. These include the 20 lessons and related curriculum materials, coach training, a t-shirt, water bottle and an end-of-season 5K for each girl, and so much more.

In order for our organization to remain sustainable, we require an honest self-reporting of current annual household income, as we must rely on local fundraising efforts, sponsorships, and donations to bridge the gap between the sliding scale fee and the full cost of participation.

Our fee structure is outlined in the chart below:

As always, any family who requires additional financial assistance in order for their girl to participate will be given an opportunity to select that support during the registration process. 100% of financial assistance requests are automatically approved. No girl has ever been turned away due to her family’s inability to pay.
